Congratulations to Hygienna’s very own Quadri Oshibotu. For his work with Hygienna, amongst a list of more than 100 applicants, Quadri was selected as one of the 21 recipients of the 2012 Centre for Social Innovations’ Youth Agents of Change Award. Established in 2011 by Toronto’s Centre for Social Innovation and ING Direct, the Youth Agents of Change Award is an award which was created to provide support for entrepreneurs aged 19-29 who are working on promising social ventures. As part of this program Quadri has been awarded with free workspace at the Centre for Social innovation Annex, access to the ING Network Orange Space, will gain connections to experts, professionals and resources across the social mission sector, he will be participating in Toronto’s most dynamic community of change experts and he will receive tailored programing and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs to assist us with growing Hygienna Inc. With a mission to catalyze social innovation in Toronto and around the world and a strong desire to support Canadians and give back to the community, we are more than pleased to add the Centre for Social Innovation and ING Direct to our list of community partners.
Quadri joined our team to assist us with business development in November 2011 prior to the launch of our flagship product, the Hygienna Solo, and he has been doing an excellent job thus far. We take pride in saying that we have a team of hardworking, skilled and multi-talented individuals and Quadri is a perfect example of this. We expect great things from him in the future.
Stay tuned and stay clean, because Hygienna is growing!
